I am a Minneapolis-based fashion designer with a background in women's ready-to-wear. I attended the University of Minnesota for design/pre-apparel before transferring and graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology will a degree in Fashion Design. I lived in Florence, Italy for two years of my undergrad where I was able to attend some of the most important trade shows in the world, attend both Paris and Milan fashion weeks, and tour some of the industry's most prestigious companies. In Italy, I also learned the value of a good cup of coffee, the importance of slowing down to enjoy the sweet life and the beauty of hand-made, artisan products.
After graduating, I quickly advanced at Howard’s Inc., becoming their Head Designer. In this role, I oversaw design and buying for two women's wear brands, as well as collaborated with clients on private label design and production. In early 2019, I was drawn to EVEREVE's mission to "move women forward in fashion and in their lives." I joined the team as their Designer for woven tops and cut-and-sew knit tops under their private label brands. Over time, these private label brands were rebranded under the EVEREVE label, where you can still find my designs today. I am currently the Designer for both the dresses and sweaters categories. Throughout my cross categorical experience, I have worked with countless fabrics, trims, and details, always striving to expand my knowledge. My goal is not only to improve the product but also to make it truly special.
When I’m not designing, I’m seeking inspiration. Whether it is visiting a museum, thrifting or just wandering a bookstore, I’m always seeking a different way to look at the world.
